Teabags

Graphic documentation about a daily action, each drawing was made on the same time of drinking a cup of tea.
Some of the drawings were sent as postcards to Mexico from United Kingdom in a period of 3 months- October, November, December of 2010.

Ironbridge Birthplace of Industry

Graphic project that explores the projection of reality, through the way a place is imagined before meeting. The fictitious drawings were made from a written description.
The process, in which the original sketches were transferred to a different paper using magic tape, represents the action of remember a site, visualizing their general aspects without specific details.

Miami es un sitio que conozco a pesar de nunca haber estado ahí, su imagen en mi mente ha sido conformada por lo que he visto en fotos, películas, programas de televisión, periódicos y revistas. Esta circunstancia me ha hecho cuestionarme acerca de cómo lo puedo identificar sólo por su apariencia, cómo es que mediante pocos datos puedo asegurar que una imagen corresponde a un lugar?.

Miami is a place I know despite I never been there, their image in my mind has been shaped by pictures, movies, TV shows and magazines. This situation provoke to me questions about how can I identified it just by its appearance, How is that throughout some few information I can assure that an image correspond to certain place?

PRACTICA 1

Mediante el proceso del dibujo en el que el boceto inacabado sugiere una imagen, mi propósito es hacer una evocación de la ciudad de Miami estableciendo la posibilidad de describir alguna situación que podría ser vista allí en la observación de lo cotidiano.

Through the drawing process in which the sketch suggest an image, my purpose is make an evocation of the city of Miami establishing the possibility of describing some situation that might be seen on the observation of every day life.

Kit de supervivencia artística

A David Hurstel project, Kit de supervivencia Artística , is a production project and collective debate starting with different actions always related with survive. Each work reflect the personal point of view of his or her creator about surviving in an economic, spiritual or artistic way.
